Also, most reviewers from other sites seem to like this camera. Its 3.1 megapix and it was in the $200-$250 range when we got it which was at least 3 years ago. Overall Review: Because of the horrible white balance and bad clarity I really feel like this camera should get a worse score but I'm really hesatent to do that because my moms camera is really the only thing I can compare it to. Finaly the auto focus is over zealous, sometimes a picture will look good on the LCD then when you take the picture the autofocus changes the WB, ISO, and other setting so that it looks nothing like it did. The mode that activates digital image stabilization does next to nothing.

None of the three auto focus modes helped the problem and there is no manual focus option. I might just be imagining it but sometimes it looks like it actually focuses past the best focus when I watch it on the LCD. Most of the pictures I take come out blurry. Granted its not as bad as say, putting a yellow transparent whatever over the lens (usually) but its still noticeable, especially with no flash. If you manually tweak the WB you might get something better but then it usually looks somewhat blueish. Almost every picture I take comes out with an acqward brownish yellow look. The white balance on this thing is horrible. Screen is nice and bright.Ĭons: My moms old 3.1 megapixel Kodak easy share camera takes much better pictures. The middle video setting seems good however, and it can record for much longer durations. Has three video quality settings, the highest one only working for 10 seconds which to me seems near worthless.
The zoom control is much easier to manipulate than other cameras I have seen in stores. Pros: Beautiful appearance, looks very slick.

Overall Review: I would not have purchased this camera if it had been listed that there was a 10 second limit on super high quality movie recordings.
The maximum limit for this recording setting is 29 minutes, exactly. Don't plan on recording much motion under this mode at 15fps. There is a lower quality setting, 320x240 Movies at this quality are very grainy. The product manual explicitly lists this maximum limit. Just way too short to actually use for much of anything. While it only lasts 10 seconds, the quality is excellent. What you aren't told is that you may only record at this quality for 10 seconds! This is regardless of whether you have an external card installed. The manual is packed with information, read it through!Ĭons: The specification (on the manufacturer's website) lists the camera as being capable of recording at 640x480 named 'super high quality.'
